Applications for Global Connect Summit Spain 2027 are reviewed through a transparent, merit-based process by VFRI. Each application is considered as a whole, using the following criteria:

Frequently asked questions

The Global Connect Summit takes place in Barcelona, Spain, from 5 to 8 February 2027.
Participants from all countries are eligible. The summit brings together emerging leaders, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, innovators and changemakers.
The program lists 20 fully funded seats, 50 partially funded seats, 20 free access passes and 60 self-funded seats. Review the application form for category details.
The application deadline is 18 October 2026. Final results are scheduled for 1 November 2026.
Benefits include a participation fee waiver, twin-sharing accommodation, two meals per day during the official program, summit materials and participation activities. Round-trip airfare reimbursement is subject to policy.
Applications are reviewed for leadership potential, motivation, impact and diverse perspectives. This sample answer can be replaced with your final selection process.
A participation certificate is planned for delegates who complete the official program. Replace this sample answer with the confirmed certificate details.
